Location:  The primary work location(s) will be in Austin, TX, 78711.  No relocation is available for this position.  Candidates must reside in the Austin, TX vacinity.

 

Duration:  Services are expected to start 06/13/2022 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2023. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended.

 

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts requires the services of 1 IT Contract Contracts Administrator/Technician 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of IT Contract Contracts Administrator/Technician 3, Information Technology Contracting and Procurement and the specifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

--

The Candidate will be part of the CPA Contract Administration and Procurement (CAP) team, performing contract management work.

 

The Candidate will perform the following assigned tasks:

 

  • Monitors contract performance by examining compliance with terms of contract and policies.
  • Requests contract status reporting and documents issues.
  • Reports contract data to external systems for legislative and statutory compliance.
  • Manages agency contracts as appropriate.
  • Provides guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding contract administration, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists with developing contract administration policies and procedures.
  • Performs desk audits and resolves audit exceptions by defining causes of errors and recommending appropriate dispositions.
  • Makes recommendations for contract improvements.
  • Responds timely to customer service requests.
  • Conducts needs assessments to determine requirements for the purchase of goods or services.
  • The Candidate will perform other related work as assigned.
