The Wireless Technician performs a wide variety of field activities associated with installing, maintaining, and servicing wireless telecommunications equipment. This role works with other technicians in a team-oriented environment to complete various projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, test, repair, remove or retrofit various wireless systems, including rooftop macro, pole mount macro and small cells, indoor distributed antenna systems (IDAS) and outdoor distributed antenna systems (ODAS)
- Read blueprints and construction drawings
- Determine and pull best path routes
- Adhere to coax and fiber installation standards
- PPC compression tool kit installation
- Installation of antennas including rooftop, racks, and remote units
- DAS and small cell OEM installation
- Label coax cables, antennas and headends
- Perform cable sweeps using spectrum analyzers for return loss, insertion loss, and distance to fault testing
- Perform PIM testing and mitigation on cellular equipment
- Fusion splice fiber modes and connectors
- Use OTDR for fiber reports and troubleshoot links
- Operate a lift and/or bucket truck
- Assist engineers and management on various tasks as needed
