Duration:  Services are expected to start 05/02/2022 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2022. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended.

 

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts requires the services of 1 Digital Product Manager 1, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Digital Product Manager 1, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined below.

 

Responsibilities

--

 

The Candidate will perform product management, requirement gathering and documentation as part of a project team with direction and guidance from the Project Management Office and Applications Services Management. The Candidate must have a strong comprehension of what the customer is trying to achieve and develop a pipeline to translate that information to create the prioritized product backlog for the development team using an Agile/Scrum methodology. This position entails a candidate that is very organized and possesses analytical thinking with strong communication skills as they will need to see through the eyes of the customer but fluently speak the language of technology. The primary goal of the worker will be to drive the customers product vision into reality with the help of the project team.

 

CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced product management tasks such as:

 

·       Ability to turn a product vision into an applicable strategy that can be supported by business and IT management

·       Able to analyze and interpret technical information, including industry standards, statutes, administrative rules, procedures and system documentation; to translate user/business needs into a technical style; to communicate technical instructions to system users; to analyze, evaluate, and integrate business rules into system requirements; to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions; and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
