Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Business Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Business Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined below.

 

Responsibilities

--

 

The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst is an Information Technology (IT) position and will provide business analysis and testing skills for the release of enhancements to the Childcare Licensing Automated Support System (CLASS). Project scope includes supporting accuracy and functionality of system development across the organization by coordinating UAT and post-production validation of development projects and releases. The UAT Analyst will plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks.
This position will also be responsible for facilitating regression testing and may assist business users with testing customizations. Works closely with Operations, Application Development, and IT QA to ensure development and testing efforts are completed and meet all outlined requirements in the implemented solution.


The UAT Analyst will also work with the project team to ensure the test environment is put into place before test execution, and managed during test execution. This position will schedule tests for execution, then monitor, measure, control, and report on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results. They will also coordinate issues resolution and make recommendations for quality assurance process improvements.
The project is expected to produce several deployments within fiscal years 2022 through 2023.

Facilitate UAT process by reviewing test requirements, assessing business impacts of the system development, coordinating testing teams and assisting in developing and reviewing test scripts to ensure users conduct thorough testing.

Host UAT planning sessions, develop end-to-end test plan, test approach, and obtain test plan signoff from stakeholders.

Manage test execution, provide metrics reporting of testing progress, manage review sessions with relevant stakeholders, and support issue resolution for closure.

Prepare go/no-go release materials to obtain a decision for the release and participate in the go/no-go calls, prepare exit report as well as lessons learned and communicate with the respective teams for improvements.

Experience as a QA/UAT Lead in the information technology field.

Relevant experience managing distributed test teams and dealing with senior business stakeholders.

Hands-on experience in all aspects of QA testing in a large-scale shared data and technology environment with multiple stakeholders.
