Overview

Ensure that Consulting projects are fulfilled and delivered in time, with a high quality and within budget. Deliver value to the customer by analyzing and proposing improvements on customers’ processes, operations, organization, IT or network. Support short and long-term profitable business for company by interacting closely with customers to identify new business opportunities that benefit both the customers and company. Typical Interfaces Externally: Customer C-level, Directors and Managers and their department staff (e.g. Marketing, Operations & IS/IT) Internally: Business Line, Customer Units and Project Teams

Responsibilities

Develop an end-state vision of an automation project or application engaging with clients to identify needs and refine business processes. • Work on IT infrastructure/systems to meet end customer requirements and need by integrating various tools. • Assist the Project Manager in designing proof of concepts and implementation of projects. • Work in sales environment and have a mindset of revenue generation • Produce Proof of Concepts on/in cutting edge technologies and present directly to internal and external customers. • Through discovery conversations uncover customer pain points and develop relevant technical solutions. • Contribute to specific projects and programs established for the work, typically under the guidance of a project lead or manager. • Contribute to and own development of customer presentations. • Perform work on customer site and engage with customer teams at all levels • Leverage and evolve past project work and results to support current customer delivery and or new customer acquisition through proposals and presentations. • Blend in different technology and technical considerations into business oriented discussions. • Conversant in business process frameworks and methodologies including eTom, ITIL (down to the sub-task level) and six sigma. EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS: • BS Degree in engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science) and Masters preferred. • Minumum of over 10 years relevant experience, of which approximately 5 years in the area of Product Management and / or Consulting. • UNIX and/or Linux operating system with understanding of Linux networking (namespaces, selinux, iptables, ip, gre, vxlan, and etc.) • Knowledge of software development life cycle and Programming scripting languages such as Python, Java (J2EE) and shell scripting • Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL(mongoDB) and database design • Working knowledge of Automation tools • Strong writing, presentation and problem solving skills • Ability to set priorities and work within tight deadlines FOCUS AREA: • BSS (Real time and converged solutions, Billing, Portals, Campaign mgmt, EAI and CRM) • OSS (Fulfillment, Assurance, EAI, customer experience management) • Cloud • Service Delivery and Service Enablement solutions and VAS (Value added services) transformation/consolidation; • TV & Media • IP and network knowledge

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications and certifications required to perform the Work described herein prior to beginning Work, including Ergonomics and any refresher training required to maintain such certifications.
